The Eagle Bulk - N X ray system is specifically designed for the inspection of loose bulk product. For example cereal product x ray, rice, loose grains and bulk nuts and kernels. The system can automatically detect and reject foreign body contaminants such as; metals, glass, stone, kernels, bone, PVC, Teflon and metals including stainless steel. Smiths Heimann have developed SimulTask™ software providing each contaminant type to be independently analysed. All loose product x ray image analysis routines are run simultaneously, thus optimising contaminant detection capability and minimising false rejects. The MultiTask™ option enables further product conformity/defects to be analysed, these can include the criteria's of; Weight, Size, Shape, Count, Presence, Thickness, Density and Length.
