The Eagle Bulk - W wide X ray system is specifically designed for the inspection of loose bulk product. The wide x ray inspection system can automatically detect and reject foreign body contaminants such as; glass, stone, fruit pips, bone, PVC, Teflon and metals including stainless steel. Smiths Heimann have developed SimulTask™ software providing each contaminant type to be independently analysed. All loose bulk image analysis routines are run simultaneously, thus. optimising detection capability and minimising false rejects.

The MultiTask™ software option enables further product conformity/defects to be analysed, these can include the criteria's of; Weight, Size, Shape, Count, Presence, Thickness, Density and Length. This bulk wide x ray system is ideally suited to stone and flavour clump detection in all cereal processing applications.
