Advanced Case x ray image processing which enables 10 product features to be analysed simultaneously at speeds of up to 80 boxes/minute. Recent applications include: 25kg sacks of chocolate powder, 15kg boxes of potato products. With the Eagle Case end of line x ray inspection system, QA function is perfected.

EAGLE CASE X RAY INSPECTION SYSTEM

	The Eagle Case X ray system is specifically designed for the inspection of end of line large cased products. The system can automatically detect and reject foreign body contaminants such as; metals, glass, stone, bone, PVC, Teflon, Stainless Steel (even in aluminium foil products). Smiths Heimann have developed SimulTask™ software providing each contaminant type to be independently analysed. All image analysis routines are run simultaneously, thus optimising detection capability and minimising false rejects. The MultiTask™ option enables further case product conformity/defects to be analysed, these can include the criteria's of; Weight, Size, Shape, Count, Presence, Thickness, Density and Length. With the Eagle Case detection is from 0.8mm sphere stainless steel and 2.0mm sphere glass, the complete end of line inspection solution.
